The flared head of this guide rod creates a more concentric and consistent lock up of the slide, spring & rod. The Lantac guide rod upgrades are for use with piano wire recoil springs and not flat wire springs. Fits Glock 17 Gen1-3 pistol models & Gen4 models with use of the Lantac GB-G4 adapter bushing.
