INFORMATION ABOUT THE ALIEN PISTOL AND THE RED DOT.
Many of you ask us if we can be in the Production Optic division, in IPSC, with the Alien pistol and the Red Dot, which comes with the extra slide, which are supplied with the Exclusive model.
Here is what it is:
If we put the slide that has a Red Dot, supplied with the Exclusive, on the pistol, we would be “bumped” in the Open division. The Red Dot must move with the slide, to be accepted in Production Optic, and this is not the case, for the slide and the Red Dot of the Exclusive, because it is installed on the fixed part.
What do we suggest?
- You will need to purchase the IPSC Retro Kit – RED DOT NOT INCLUDED
- You will need to remove the Red Dot which is on the slide that you have and you will need to reinstall it on the IPSC Retro Kit slide.
OR – You can just buy a C-More RTS2 and install it directly on the IPSC Retro Kit (if you don’t have the Alien Exclusive, by example).
For your information, the Red Dot that comes with the Alien Exclusive is a 6MOA. If you want less MOA, simply buy a C-More RTS2 from a different MOA.
